Self-Check Your System for Spyware

Ask yourself the following questions,and then see what you can do about it

1. Is my computer booting slower than it usually does?
2. Is it taking a lot longer to bring up an application/program?
After accessing the Internet...
3. Do I have problems going to the websites that I have typed in?
4. Does my home page get changed or does it load to a different website without my consent or knowledge?
5. Do I get a page that says "Page cannot load, or Page not found"?
6. Why can't I surf the internet?
7. How come I can't retrieve my e-mail?
8. Do I receive an overwhelming amount of pop up ads?
9. Do I reveive periodic messages stating that I may be infected with spyware and that I should click "here", to remove spyware?
10. Does my computer lockup within a short time after turnin the computer on, and now it never shuts down unless I unplug the power from the computer?

If you have answered YES to any of these questions you may very well be infected with SPYWARE...!!!!

Here are some steps to see if you are infected:

****Reboot your computer

****After all has loaded and you are ready to delv into some interesting tasks do the following....

1. Press down the ctrl & alt & del keys on your keyboard until you get a window to pop up.
2. In this window you will see every process and program running behind the scenes that you would never see visibly running.

3. If you see any of the following items that I have listed then you most definitely have spyware and this is why you are having problems with your computer. If you do not have any of the following items listed, then you are have some Windows(microsoft) related issues and need to (switch to linux), just kidding, but you should backup all of your data and do a complete system restore or e-mail me to schedule an appoint to come over to your home and perform some more in depth analysis on your computer before doing anything drastic...here's a common list (but there are hundreds more):
